Building Electrification and HVAC
PACE can help property owners, managers, business owners electrify their buildings. Electrification is the process of switching from using fossil-fuel appliances and systems to those that run on electricity. PACE can also help you install electric HVAC and comfort systems.
Refrigeration, Dishwashers, and Ice Machines
If you have aging equipment that you need to replace for efficient, upgraded models, PACE can help. And our Kitchen Efficiency grant makes upgrading a little easier on your bottom line.
Commercial Cooking Equipment
Still cooking with gas? Let’s fix that. PACE can help you swap it for electric models, like cooktops, griddles, fryers, and ovens. Our Kitchen Electrification Grant can help cover the cost.
Electric Landscaping Equipment
PACE offers the Electric Landscaping Equipment Grant to help local landscaping businesses shift to cleaner, quieter tools. We worked with the City of Boulder and the American Green Zone Alliance (AGZA) to create a program that helps small, locally owned companies move from loud, polluting gas gear to clean, quiet electric equipment.
Food Truck Equipment
PACE works with the Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) to help mobile food vendors become more sustainable. This program gives food truck and mobile business owners in Boulder County a simple way to upgrade old kitchen equipment and replace dirty, noisy generators with efficient electric zero‑emission power stations.
Waste Reduction
PACE helps businesses across Boulder County cut waste and choose more sustainable options. We offer rebates and free advising to help you set up the right bins and signs, switch to reusable items, and train your employees so recycling and composting are done correctly.

PACE can connect you with information about electric vehicles and charging stations, local transit options like EcoPass, and ways to support your employees with commute education.
