Several PACE advisors talk with a local business owner in front of an efficient commercial refrigerator

Our Programs

PACE offers tailored support to a diverse range of organizations across the Boulder County business community. Whether you run a brick-and-mortar location or mobile business, you own or manage commercial properties, or you are a contractor working on commercial properties, we’re ready to help.

How We Work
PACE programs target four main areas: energy, water, waste, and transportation. We prioritize projects focused on energy efficiency and electrification (or, swapping fossil-fuel-powered equipment for electric alternatives). These upgrades have the biggest impact on emissions, health, and comfort, and are the most impactful way to upgrade your building or equipment.

Building Electrification and HVAC

Landscaping Equipment

To help local businesses make the shift to cleaner, quieter operations, PACE has partnered with the City of Boulder and the American Green Zone Alliance (AGZA) to create the Electric Landscaping Equipment Grant.

This program helps small, locally owned landscaping companies transition from loud, polluting gas-powered tools to vetted electric alternatives. Through financial support and expert guidance, PACE helps remove the upfront cost and logistical barriers to switching equipment so you can modernize your business operations while supporting Boulder County’s broader sustainability and clean air goals.

Food Truck Equipment

In collaboration with the Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC), PACE has an initiative to support mobile food vendors in becoming more sustainable. This program allows food truck and mobile business owners in Boulder County to upgrade their old kitchen equipment and convert dirty and noisy generators into efficient electric zero-emission power stations.
