Meet our Partners In Energy

First United Methodist Church

First United Methodist ChurchFirst United Methodist welcomes the community in many ways, playing host to films, music, lectures, and civic events. Its inclusiveness extends to work on homelessness and LGBTQ equality – and to environmental stewardship, as demonstrated by their extensive lighting upgrade. PACE created an ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager account for the church to track their energy usage year to year.

Left Hand Brewing Company

left hand brewingLeft Hand Brewing has implemented many innovative waste and energy reduction measures. They installed a system called a "flash steam converter" that captures steam generated from the brewing process and reuses it.  Often used in manufacturing, this process is innovative in the brewing arena.  Left Hand also composts and recycles, and gives much of their grain and hops leftovers to farmers. PACE helped with a waste audit, additional recycling bins, and establishing an environmentally preferable purchasing policy.
