New Energy Tools for Owners and Tenants in Leased Buildings

Are you an owner or tenant of a leased building? Do you want your building to be net-zero, but the incentives just don’t line up? You’re not alone, and new but simple solutions are on the table. The Rocky Mountain Institute, with support from the City of Boulder, is offering a free training to help build business cases for building owners and tenants of leased buildings to strive towards net-zero or deep energy savings. Rocky Mountain Institute will share key components to include in an advanced green or NZE lease to help overcome the split incentive issue that is inherent to leased buildings. Join us at Boulder Commons, which is managed according to the leasing principles we’ll discuss.
